Just for you.....happy New Year

Morning Stampers.

Boy who can believe another year is just about to end, with a fresh new one about to begin.
Is it just me or are the years now flying past alot quicker than they use to.

This past year has been a good one to my family and myself.
So here's hoping this coming year follows suit for us all.
If for some reason this year has not been an easy for you and yours,
i'm sending happy wishes out to you for the coming year and for happiness to be with you all.

Here is the last of the birthday cards i sat down and made on Monday

This one has the technique of emboss resist.
The Just Believe stamp was stamped first with Versamark, the heat set with clear embossing powder.
Then the En Francais background stamp was stamped over a circle negative,
Then i added a bit of coordinating ink on a sponge and sponged in the middle working out a little bit, but not to the edge.

Anyway have a great night tonight, what ever you have planned.
Be safe and i will see you all in the New Year.

I hope the new year brings times of joy and happiness to all,
and of course here's to all of the great new creations that are coming our way,
Cheers!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

Butterflies of freindship

Morning Stampers.

Well i hope you all have recovered from the big day that Christmas can be, and are ready for yet another big day coming close on it's heels, that is of course New Years Eve, well we all celebrate this day/Evening, as with most of us New Years day is a day of recovery, after too many well earned wines

As i stated in my last post i would post another of the cards i made the other day for a couple of special birthdays coming up, i won't say which card is for which person as im not sure if they pop over to my blog and have a look.

What the photo is not showing you is that the silhouette of the flowers from the "just believe" stamp set has been stamped in Chocolate chip then embossed with clear embossing powder.

I will pop back in a few days to show you the last card i had made.

Hot on the tails of Christmas

Afternoon Stampers.

I hope everybody out there in blog land had a great Christmas day.
With the usual to much food and maybe a drink or two.

I know i had a great day, this year was our first quiet Christmas day, with a BBQ brunch at home then a relaxing time for the rest of the day.
In fact we all ate so much for brunch that for dinner we ended up only having dessert, and eating our dinner the next day for lunch.

Well now that Christmas is over with for another year,
I have been hard at work creating a few birthday cards,  one of them is going to be a bit late, as every year im not organised enough to this card out on time due to the silly season.

It is for my Father-in-law his birthday is on the 4th of January, but the problem is he lives over in Australia.
But never mind at least i do send him something.

This card is one that was sent to me in an email from Jacque Pedersen, from her "twelve weeks of Christmas", i decided to CASE it and instead of making it a Christmas card i made it a birthday card.

Well over the next few days i will post the other two cards i also made,
until then see ya and enjoy the rest of this wonderful holiday time, before our real lives begin again

Elf poop.......

Afternoon stampers,

This will be a short post as i am melting as i sit here writing this.

I had a very productive night last night, in fact i didn't even see my hubby, or have dinner as i sat in my craft room and created until i couldn't create anymore.

There were a few things i had to do on my agenda.
Today i will show you the little gifts i made for a couple of my close freind's children.

These have featured on a few blogs, so it is hard to just give credit to one person, and have been around for years.

I ended up making about 10 of these, but with only one girl in the bunch i made her a special one.
All pink with kisses and not poop.

The kids loved them, even the three big ones i gave them to.

So i will be back tomorrow to post the other two items i made, as i had to make two birthday cards, which was a joy to do after all of the Christmas cards i have been doing

Santa's Britches....

Evening Stampers,

Yes it is evening i am sitting here trying to make the most of the day, at the moment there just isn't enough hours in the day to get everything done.

As i said in my last post i have a few different projects to do, and this evening i have managed to finish off my gift card holders.
The Internet is a wonderful place for inspirations, tonight while surfing the net i came across a really great idea for a gift card holder, it comes from an American scrapbooker by the name of wander. Click here to go on over and have a look at her site.

This is the outside, complete with belly band

Here is the inside

These were fun and easy to make.
The Real Red is cut at 6"x 4 1/4", scored at 1 1/2"and 4 1/2", the buttons are cut using the small oval and 3/4"punches.
The belly band was cut at 6 1/2"x 1 1/4" (edged with white) with a more mustard square to make the buckle and a small black insert, then just loosely folded around and secured with a bit of adhesive.

I am now going to attach them to the top of a candy cane i have for each child,
so i have a Christmas/gift card and tag all in one.
 How easy could that be

CASed Snow Swirled

Morning Stampers,

A few days ago i was over at the wonderful Jacque Pedersen's blog and saw she had blogged a card that she taught us a few weeks ago at a class here in Hamilton.

And as i had to make a few quick last minute Christmas cards i decided on giving this another go.

I did change it a bit due to not having the Snow Swirled Stamp set or the tools Jacque used to make her great card, Click here to go on over and have a look,

I have a busy creative week left ahead, i have been asked to make some little gift boxes, i have a birthday card to complete and i also have some gift card holders to complete before the end of the week, on top of that im trying to  finish up a surprise gift for my Hubby for Xmas, and with it being a surprise i have to do it only when he is not around, and it is not easy as the two of us spend alot of time together with working and living together, then at the end of the week im joining my son to go to a drifting event, yes it goes for two days and is in Auckland
oh boy well i had better sign off and get cracking

Stop.... Ready......Go....have fun!

Morning Stampers,

Yesterday i had to make a card for my best friends youngest son's birthday, and after setting the bar high with a great sweet treat cup card for his older brother (earlier in the year) i had to come up with something just as good.
Well i think i hit the mark with this card. i decided to make one based on a set of traffic lights.
using the bottom colour Green for the sweet treat cup.

A few people commented that it should have read..... ready...set....go...., so i added the little "get and &"
now it makes sense, i also cut out the letters in the same colours on the front to form the words
"have fun" and put them on the inside, but i didn't get a photo of this.

Now i have the added bonus of trying to top this as the middle boy also has a birthday next week.
This one is going to be a bit late i think, as i might use a stamp set i currently have on order, so I'm waiting very patiently for this to arrive.

Until then have a great weekend ahead

Mojo Monday 168 + some eye candy

Morning stampers,

On Sunday night i was lucky enough to be able to go up to Auckland and catch my all time favourite
band playing live........
The one and only Bon Jovi, and boy they were just brilliant.
Their show was the best ever they are fantastic live, and put on a great show for all to enjoy.
It will take quite a while to wipe this smile.
He is some serious eye candy.
Take a look for yourself.

Well after a slow start today i feel that i have finally achieved something.
After blog surfing while having breakfast, i came across this weeks challenge over at Mojo Monday.
Here is the sketch

The Mojo juices must be flowing as i had an idea as soon as i saw this one.

Excuse the bow, i fiddle with it for so long,

Punch Art Snowman.....

Morning Stampers,

Wow another week has snuck by.
At this time of year things seem to move in one speed, and that is very fast.

Once again i haven't had the time to be very creative, but this morning i thought blow the paper work for an hour or two and got busy.

Today's creation is a CASEd one, as soon as i saw this i know i had to give it a go.
It is so cute i love it. This came from the talented Leeann Greff, Who is an American Demonstrator, a blog i visit regularly as she has some wonderful punch art creations.
Click here to go on over and visit her blog.

Now here is my card
Once again there is very little stamping on here, only for the sentiment and the inside of the card.

Well the paper work is calling so i had better go and finish it, but i would rather be sitting here and creating not up to my elbows in numbers and files

Yes i'm still here.....

Morning stampers.

Boy oh boy what a week, i can't believe it has been a week since my last post, this time of year can be busy without the extra things going on in life.
At least i can say my new office down at our business has been finished, and i moved in yesterday, but it was a stressful day trying to get the computer up and running.

I have not had any time to get anywhere near my craft room, but tomorrow i have a whole day of stamping and creating with the wonderful and very creative Jacque Pedersen.
I am so looking forward to this i have not attended a class in over three months.

Yesterday i had to make a thank you card, as the other night we had a fantastic time, we attended a good  mate of ours work party, it was a night of comedy at our local bar, and boy i don't think i have laughed that hard in so long, in the end it hurt too much to laugh i was crying instead.
thanks for the invite TWS and Mcleods sheetmetals.

So in order to thank our hosts for the invite i made them a card.
this is one in which i CASED, as this was such a great design, i just changed the colours
Click here to see the original

Here is my creation

Have a great day and weekend ahead

Gifts in a jar

Morning Stampers,
Yesterday i had a great but again busy day, i managed to achieve so much, i even got the chance to create something.
After seeing the cookies in a jar on both Jacque's and Narelle's blog  , i decided this would make a wonderful gift for my Daughters favourite two teachers at school.

I found a recipe for Chocolate Cookies which is fantastic as it had ability for creating the layers which makes this gift look even better.
All the receiver has to do is add the wet ingredients

Here's the view of the top
It doesn't show up very well,
but i have added Dazzling Diamonds on the edge of the Whisper White and pearls.
These would suit any occasion from house warming to birthday events

punch art.....xmas fun

Morning Stampers,

Boy oh boy where has the time gone since my last post, i have been a very busy little beaver.
I have been down at our business trying to get my new office built among doing other things.
At the present time i use my spare room at home for an office, but now with business getting busier and busier i am needing to have my paper work close on hand, so we are converting and old staff room to my new office, and it has ment alot of re-arranging as this room has been used as a wrapping/packaging area for the past year. So before we could start on the office we have had to make another area available for this purpose.

On the plus side i can use the spare room completely as my craft area, not a office/craft room, there wasn't enough room for both, but now there will be Yahoo!!

Well today i decided while i waited for the washing to finish i would sit down and create something, and wouldn't you know i choose a card that is not an easy one, and then i have to finish it quickly as i have to head out and get some things done for the new office. I don't like starting something and then having to come back to it, if your on a roll you have to keep going until it's finished, just like reading a good book.
So as you can imagine this has not turned out like i would have like it to,
it is a CASE, but im sorry i do not know where i found this, if it is yours let me know

Here is the inside

If i had a bit more time i would have gotten the sizing on the inside a little closer,
i do have another one sitting there ready to go, so i will have to do it WHEN i have a bit more time, this time it might look a bit better.

Back again, after checking out Just Add Ink i see that their challenge this week is just add Christmas.
Which suits this card. so all is not lost today
Click here to go on over and have a look

En Francais meets Beautiful wings

Morning stampers.
Here is the second card i made yesterday for a birthday coming up soon.
This card combines two of my favourite stamps, the Baroque Motifs and En Francais.
In fact after so long of wanting the En Francais Background stamp i finally brought it and let me tell you i think it is a must for all stampers to have in their collection, this is a very versatile stamp for both male and female cards.

I used the Beautiful Wings die (also New) using both the Elegant Eggplant with a layer of clear window sheets to create the 3D Butterflies.

sorry for the photo quality as no matter how i tried this wouldn't photograph well, the photo doesn't do the card justice.
I am really happy with this one.

Card/paper:  Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla. Elegant Eggplant
Stamps:  En Francais, Baroque Motifs, Short & Sweet
Ink:  Soft Suede,
Other:  Sponges, SU Ribbon, SU Punches, SU Beautiful Wings Die, Dimensionals, Diamante's, Window Sheets

I'm on a roll......for now

Morning stampers,
This morning for the first time in a week or two i had a creative streak.
Well saying that i have had to, i have another two family members with birthdays coming up shortly.
With all of these birthdays at this time of year, im glad i have made a start on my Christmas cards.

Todays card was one i had seen on the fabulous Australian Demonstrator's Bev Watt blog.
So i gave it a go and have added my take on her wonderful original.
Bev's Blog is one i visit regularly as she has some fantastic creations that she shares.
Click here to go on over and have a look for yourself

I am really loving this colour combination, in fact im loving the whole range of SU In Colours this year.
As this is for a teenager i have added a bit of bling, a girl can never have enough bling.
The only bit of stamping on this card is the sentiment.

Card/Paper:  Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamps:  Happy Moments
Ink:  Basic Black
Other:  SU Punches, White Ribbon, SU Matt Pack, Dimensionals, Diamantes, SU Embossing folder

Cat vs Toilet paper

Morning Stampers,

Today is something i had to share.

When i went to hang out washing, this is what i found.
My Cat has a thing with toilet rolls, he will get hold of them and run off with them and then destroy them.

This particular roll came from our ensuite, i wondered why i didn't see him leave with the roll, but the little so and so jumped out our window with the roll and this is the results
The offender............ looking please with himself.

At least this time it was outside, normally it is somewhere in the house and these rolls can make one heck of a mess.
With our last moggie, it was the dishwashing cloth. maybe the next cat will have a less expensive...
 almost daily habit

Poodle Punch Art....

Morning stampers,

Well after my short holiday over on the Gold Coast, I'm now back and let me tell you after the five great relaxing days away I'm having a great deal of trouble settling back into the swing of things.
The time away was fantastic, i managed to catch up with some friends, i shopped and shopped some more, ate out and had a wonderful time, i even went craft shop hunting, i found a great kaiser Craft shop in Robina,
I didn't bring anything back as i can't seem to get past the products that Stamping Up offer, i find their products hard to beat
Now back to real life and paper work, that is the problem with going away things don't stop, they just pile up until your return.

My mojo is still on holiday, hopefully it will return soon. I didn't even miss my craft room or feel the need to create something. In fact i still don't feel like creating, i must be coming down with something.

For today's card i went to my box of pre-made items, as i needed a card for my niece's birthday tomorrow. See even my sentiment is not straight, mind you this was made quiet some time ago before my Stamp-a-ma-jig

The papers used are not Stamping up, and as you can see they don't match up very well, this is why i stick to Stampin up that way you can be guaranteed a match up of colours and accessories

Elephant Punch Art.....

Afternoon stampers,

Today's post is a birthday card made for a friend of mine who will be having her birthday while i'm over in Aussie. And as she lives just up the road from where im staying so i can personally give this to her.
She is a huge fan of elephants, so i thought i would base my card around this.
After searching through my files with punch art i came across this great wee elephant.
i used the combination of a layout i also found, sorry i cannot remember names, if this is yours let me know so i can link this to you.
After finishing it, it does a little bit too young for a grown women, but i couldn't help myself i love these colours together, i might change the sentiment to age it a little

This will my last post for a week, as im off to the sunny Gold Coast this weekend for five days to relax and have fun oh and visit the many great craft shops over there, all i can say is bring it on... my bags are half empty and ready to go.
So until my next post take care and stay safe...

Just Add Ink 40.........

Morning Stampers,

I can't believe it's been nearly a week since i last blogged, i have had a very busy time trying to finalise things down at our business, the end of month comes around as i leave and any one dealing with business knows this is a busy time for paper work.
The reason being.....on the weekend i am heading away for 5 days of relaxation over on the Gold Coast, and i don't want to come back to a full in tray of paper work.

Today i had a birthday pressie and card i wanted to do for my favourite local radio announcer.
So working with the colour challenge over at Just Add Ink,
I decided to make a purse and a matching card. Apart from the sentiment there was no stamping involved
Click here and go on over and have a go.

Here are this weeks fabulous colours i just love this colour combo

The purse is going to be filled with either small soaps of chocolate, i haven't decided which yet

Card/Paper:  Blushing Bride DSP, Pear Pizzazz, Bashfull Blue, Sahara Sand

Lucky Duck....

Morning Stampers,

Well yesterday i started the day off with good intentions, but amazingly one phone call changed all that.

I was nice and comfortable in my craft room, ready to let my mind and soul do nothing but create, until that dreaded call,
My husband rung and said "um we have problem," so i calmly asked what, "oh not much just you need to meet me up at the hospital as soon as you can get there,"so this set my heart racing, "Don't panic he says"......... Yeah right!, Thank goodness it wasn't him that needed the attention, but unfortunately it was our brand new employee, (this was his second day with us) My husband managed to shut a rear tail gate of a van and slice the end of our workers finger off,  all i can say is ouch ouch ouch.
He lost about 1/4 inch of the end of his ring finger, and the dedicated worker wanted to come back in today for work, now that is determination.
I had to sit in the A&E with him for over 2hrs, and as it was a clean cut they just patched him up and sent him home, with a follow up visit to come next week.

After all of that excitement i did manage to get back to my craft room and create/finish a card. This one was a special request for my (lot) younger sister, she has a very good friend who has her 21st next month.
all she gave me was she likes ducks, and she like purple. I even broke out my More Mustard, this is one colour i think i have never used unless in class.

I wanted something a little bit different so it would stand out, so i choose a pop up card
I really like the card and my water colouring turned out good.

Card:  Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, More Mustard
Stamps:  Wagon full of fun, So Swirly Roller.
Ink: Versamark, StazOn, Rick Razzleberry
Other: SU Markers, Dazzling Diamonds, SU Punches

Techno stamper 144

Afternoon Stampers,

I hope everybody out there in blogger land had a great day today, i have had a mixed bag kind of day, at least it wasn't as bad as yesterday.
You don't realise how good you have things until you loose them, i'm talking about broadband, thanks to the Daughter and her ipod we have gone over our allowance and we still have two weeks to go, so instead of being able to get this all done in a jiffy, it is taking me quite some time, boy dial up is soooo slow

For today's post i decided to have a go at the challenge over at Techno Stamper. As i have a friends son 21st birthday this weekend i thought i would combine the two. here is the challenge sketch.

Here is the card i came up with, again i feel it needs something

I decided to add a sentiment, but im still not happy with the outcome, Oh well you can't win them all

I'm not the best at colouring so i like to use the paper piecing method, as i have done so with this card

CardDSP: So Saffron, Sage Shadow*, Whisper White, Windsor Knot DSP*
Stamp:  Happy moments
Ink:  Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow*
Other:  SU punches, Dimensionals,  SU Markers
* denotes retired items

Tis the season....

Afternoon Stampers,

Well the season is nearly here, and some shops in town are already getting in to the spirit.

And i think by now everybody is making a start on these never ending xmas card lists, i know have been along with a few early requests, so i have been busy doing my cards and also doing the extras.

Today's post is a quick and easy one....... i think i have a bad dose of mondayitist today, not just with creating but with life in general, boy my Aussie getaway coming up next weekend is looking so good, i can't wait. today is just one of those days where even a smile doesn't cut it.

Anyway todays creations are a set of cards i made last week, when i was in the mood for creating and life.

These are bagged up and ready to go out, so excuse the glare.
All of the cards were made using the tree Trimmings Stamp set teamed up with the baroque Motifs set.
The DSP is a retired one called Ski Slope, it has been a favourite one to use for my xmas cards.
All matched up with corresponding card stock and ribbons, i have used a different technique with each decoration on the cards, one with Dazzling Diamonds, one with Crystal Effects and the last one i used my Kindy Glitz.

Just jawing........

Morning stampers,

In a blog last month, i mentioned that i had a busy time for birthdays from September on, today it is a good friend of mine son's birthday, So i know he doesn't read this but anyway happy birthday Dylan.

At the last moment i realised i didn't have a pre-made card to suit a cool kid, so i sat down and in the hurry i was in made a card just for him, and managed to create this one in a very short period of time, and i can say i like the outcome and boy so did he.

This photo was taken before i managed to go and buy the lollies to put in the sweet treat cups, once i did i filled it with red skittles. i also added a "wish big" saying from the Short & Sweet set in the bottom right hand corner

Cardstock:  Basic black, Real Red, Whisper White
Stamps:  Just Jawing, Short & Sweet, Single Skull Xbones stamp

Happy Birthday to me........

Morning Stampers,

Today's post will be a short one, i have a huge day ahead.
i just wanted to post the wonderful card my daughter made me for my birthday today, i let her loose in my craft room, while hubby and i attended a movie premiere - Eat, pray love.

My daughter did an amazing job on the card she made me, she just went through everything, then just threw colours together, i just wish i had her creative flair for "throwing" things together, and i really like that this card has a piece of her on it, in the way of the hand drawn letters,
Alana even did a bit of daubing around the edges

And look at her bow and she says she only tied it once, and wow she even created  layers with the circles.
What more can i say i love it, im a lucky lady

Happy Birthday to me.......

IM SO OLD

Oh you little Bugger, i have just found this, this is what can happen if you leave your blog signed in,
My darling son left me a little message

3D Gifts.....and early Birthday present

Afternoon Stampers,

Last night when i got home from being out at scouts with our daughter, my husband gave me an early Birthday pressie, well it is only one day early, anyway thanks to darling hubby i'm off to the Gold Coast for 5 days to go and relax with some friends i have over there, all expenses paid, including a hire car.
The family and i lived over there for nearly 10 years, so i have a few friends to catch up with. We have been back home now for just over 2 years, so it will be so great to see them all again.

Today i thought i would share with you the last of the projects we made while at stamp camp.
These projects are all 3D and ideal for gifts and with xmas coming up perfect timing.

There is a great little box in which it will hold anything small or sweet, a really neat little gingerbread house decoration to hang on the tree, a covered note/shopping pad with a matching pen, the little envelope is a lip balm holder, it could be re-sized to fit anything maybe a choc bar, and lastly the item at the back is a really neat idea for a teenagers room/office/ or even the craft room, it is a decorated cork board complete with matching pins,(using shrink plastic). i love all of these projects.

During the weekend we got to play with the new in colours, and i am loving all of them,  the new Awash with flowers Stamp set has moved to my most wanted list.

I have a maybe list and a want list and the things i must have soon go on my most wanted list

Anyway my phone is buzzing, it will be my daughter requiring the services of mum's taxi,
so i will sign out and see you all tomorrow.
My birthday
yay for me... not it means im getting closer to 40... and Narelle you don't need to keep reminding me. Your so not Funny!!!

Just Believe.......

Morning Stampers,

After the wonderful weekend and previous days we have just had, yesterday was so cold, i expected to look outside and see snow around,  this morning is a very cool almost frosty one, but the day ahead looks just grand.

Now yesterday i said i would post some more of the great the projects we made at stamp camp, this one was one i will be making again, it is so pretty,

This project was a card holder and matching cards/envelops, with a touch of Dazzling Diamonds.
By the end of the weekend, there was Dazzling diamonds everywhere, i think Jacque will be cleaning it up for months to come. nearly every thing we made had a touch of bling on it somewhere, even the Women's refuge cards had bling.

This is the inside with the cards sitting pretty with matching envelops on the other side, the holder is a very simple but effective one to make

This set is so versatile, and could be made with any stamp set, but at the moment this stamp set would have to be my favourite:
Just Believe,
and the new vines and blossoms small roller
This little gift set was made using the some of the new in colours, and i can tell you i am loving all of them.

Busy Busy weekend......

Morning Stampers,

Boy oh boy what a huge weekend.

I spent from Friday night until Sunday Lunch at a stamp camp, with the fun and talented Jacque Pedersen and 15 other great ladies. It was a blast, I met and made some great new stamping friends, and made some fantastic projects, with some great slices/baking to munch on during the days, oh and don't forget the wonderful soup that Jacque made us for lunch on Saturday, it was yummmm

Over the weekend we finished 11 projects/cards. With Saturday being our busiest. Also during the weekend if we had time while we waited for either products to complete projects or for the next project we had a table set up behind us, up to help Jacque create some great Xmas cards for the Womens Refuge, at the end of the weekend there were 100 completed cards. Thanks to the great team work involved.

I had a blast camping out in a freinds of Jacque's apartment, there were three of us ladies who stayed over, and we all were in one room , just like our school camp days. So a big thanks for the company goes to Tracey and to Diana, who also shared the great chatty trip from Hamilton to Auckland and then home again.

As i had alot of Projects to show i thought i would show them to you in groups, todays group is the cards we made.

These four cards used the techniques of Braying, punch art, embossing, sponging, chalking and the list goes on and on.

Then to finish the weekend of on an even bigger high was the family and i went out to see Gin Wigmore live in concert, and what a fantastic and talented lady. We started the night out at the very back of the theatre then just before it all started we were asked if we would like to move right down to the front to the empty seats up there, well duh of course we said yes, and it made the already great night even better.

So now im off to the gym to work off some of those wonderful slices and baking, until tomorrow
take care.

Just add ink 38

Morning Stampers,

This weekend is one i have been looking foward to for a while now, as this weekend i am attending a stamp camp at the fabulous Jacque Pedersen's place, and it should be a great weekend of creating, fun and laughs, well what else can you expect when a bunch of like minded (crafty) ladies get together for a weekend.

This morning i popped on over to the site Just add ink to see their new challenge for this week, and in support of Australia's Pink Ribbon day, it is
JUST ADD BLING ... and PINK!
and straight away i had something in mind.
Click Here to go on over and have a look or even play along

This is such a worthy cause, if you only support a few causes this is one all of us women should get behind, if you think about it i'm sure every one of us knows someone who is or has been affected by this life changing disease.

I didn't add a message as i didn't have one that fitted with this card, i also didn't have any Pink Ribbon,
so to match up ribbon with the colours used.  i used my bone folder and held down a piece of plain satin ribbon on my Pink Pirouette stamp pad and pulled the ribbon through coating the ribbon in the required colour, then i used my heat tool to dry it, then stuck it to my card using glue dots.

Card:  Pink Pirouette, Whisper White
Stamp:  None used
Ink:  Pink Pirouette - used to colour ribbon
Other:  Glue dots, SU Elegant bouquet E/F, Ribbon, Rhinestones

Clean & Simple 110

Afternoon stampers,

I had a great day today, my niece went home yesterday, i love her very much and she behaved very well.
but boy it is hard to get use to a 4yr old in the house when my youngest was her age 10 years ago. She was lot of fun, with her here i slept as well as she did, i just didn't get the sleep in i'm use to, the beauty of teenagers and school holidays.

But now to the creative side of things.

I have had a very productive afternoon, i sat down and before i knew it i had completed three different cards, which i will post over the next few days or so.

At first glance i thought the new sketch for the clean & simple blog, was just that simple, so i dismissed this for a while, but after looking again and thinking about it, i thought no this one is perfect i have just the idea in mind and the stamp set i wanted to use.

i have used my favourite colour out of the whole range, yes i know it has retired, but i have stocked up on it.
I just adore Green Galore, i find it a fantastic green to use for flower stems as it is such a fresh colour.

Card:  Green Galore*, Basic Grey, Pacific Blue, Whisper White.
Stamps:  Circle Circle, Short & Sweet
Ink:  Green Galore*, Basic Grey, Pacific Point
Other:  SU punches, Dimensionals,

Yet Another Chrismas Sparkle...............

Morning Stampers,

Here we go again it is the start of another week. So far the week looks like it is going to be a good week.

So how did everyone's weekend go, mine was........ well different,  at the moment i have little miss 4 (niece) staying with me, and i can tell you I've forgotten how much work little ones are. She is great to have around but i'm finding i'm just as tired as she is when it comes to bed time, My husband and have had a few laughs with the way in which she see things, as we had forgotten how innocent they can be.

so i did not manage to get around to creating anything, but today i will post the last of the acetate cards i made late last week. With this one i didn't have any Night of Navy ribbon so i made a piece using my SU markers, to match the just seen back piece.

Card:  Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Night of Navy.
Stamps:  Snow Swirled
Ink:  Versamark, White StazOn, Going Grey
Other:  Rhinestones, ribbon, SU markers, White/silver embossing powder, Glue dots, Heat tool.

Afternoon Stampers,

Today i found some time and decided to make a start on the Christmas cards for this year, and i had better get cracking as i have had a few request to make some special Christmas cards for others to give to their family members this year.

After seeing this fantastic Acetate (window sheets) card over at Debbie Lamb's blog, Click here to go on over and have a look at Debbie's great creations.
I thought that is what i am going to have a go at today so i came up with three different cards using Acetate (window sheets).

Xmas Box Set

Evening Stampers,

Well after a day of trying to get to my creating table (dining table), i finally got there, between getting ready for the G.S.T change over, if you have anything to do with business books, you will know how much of a headache this is going to be for the first month or so.

Well when i did get to sit down with my visiting sister (from Auckland) we managed to create a card or two.

I did another box set, this time with a Xmas theme, it took me a while to complete this very simple box, as i found that in order to include the envelopes as well, the box needed abit of adjustment. and after several gos i got it right, then i could move on to the cards to match.

The cards are all using the same DSP, colours and papers.

Here is the box, and as usual with being in a hurry to complete this it is not straight, but this seems to be my trademark

And here are the matching cards to go with the box

The idea came from either a blog or splitcoasters, sorry i cannot remember where or who it was, and the picture does not have a watermark

Cards/Paper:  Whisper White, Baja Breeze Not Quite Navy
 Stamps:  Snow Swirled, Snow Burst.
Ink:  Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy.
